Experience: Preferred 1 year

Must be organized and have good attendance, have good computer skills, including typing speed, previous experience with health insurance would be a positive.
Description of Job:
Responsible to learn both the CPSI and ECW software systems to properly do claim follow-up on assigned payers.
This payer group is Blue Cross Insurance.
Will be required to learn all web sites that pertain to each payer to perform claim follow up, appeals and refiling of claims either electronic or paper.
Will be necessary to obtain as much payer knowledge as possible from either a billing manual, trainings, or provider representative.
There will be times when you will be asked to meet with the provider representatives to resolve issues.
All claims must be followed up timely so that payments can be collected in a timely manner.
Will be responsible to research and help other staff find and correct problems that are causing claims to deny.
Will be responsible for working mail from the Blue Cross Insurance plans.
Will be responsible to work towards objectives and create goals to improve processes. End goal being to collect cash and reduce AR days.
