What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor- Practice position at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center?
New faculty search: Instructor of Practice. Will teach within the health sciences program in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences; wll mentor students in the program; will teach a variety of courses in support of the health sciences program. Contributes to service needs of the School, College, University and appropriate professional organizations.

Minimum Education Requirements
Degree: Masters degree
Fields/Majors: Health sciences-related field
Educational and/or Teaching background in one or more of the following is highly desired: Aging, Healthcare Management amp; Policy, Ethics, Integrative Health and Wellness (including complementary and alternative medicine), Health Promotion, Medical Terminology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Research Methods, or Scientific Writing.
Certification Desired:
Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification or eligibility for certification desired
Experience, Training and other Qualifications Required or Desired:
Evidence of strong teaching ability (including distance/online); ability to mentor undergraduate and graduate students. Requires successful completion of a background check. Qualified candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screening
