What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Intern, Imaging Services position at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center?
Under direct supervision of the Radiologic Technologist, the Radiology Student Intern will assist the technical staff in performing duties and tasks to support the performance of multiple imaging modalities of the Radiology Department.
The Diagnostic Division - Rhodes Hall encompasses 9 examination rooms located on the 2nd floor, Rhodes Hall; 2 examination rooms located in the Emergency Department, 2 exam rooms in the James Cancer Hospital and portable units throughout the Medical Center. The area is staffed 24 hours per day Sunday - Saturday. The CT Division encompasses 3 imaging rooms located on the 2nd floor, Doan Hall, 2 imaging rooms located in the Emergency Department, 1 CT on the first floor James and 1 CT on the 10th floor in the James area. The CT division is staffed 24 hours per day Sunday - Saturday. The MR Division encompasses 3 MRs on the 2nd floor Rhodes Hall, 2 MRs on the 1st floor James Cancer Hospital, 1 MR in Radiation Oncology. The MR division is staffed 24 hours per day Sunday - Saturday. The outpatient locations provide MR, CT, Diagnostic x-ray, Ultrasound, and Bone Density. The outpatient sites maintain hours between 7am and 11pm Sunday Saturday, depending on site.
Minimum Qualifications
in a Health Field. Must have own transportation.
