Industrial Seamstress/Technician

Since 1981, family owned and operated Ohio Valley Industrial Services has been servicing Research and Power Generation with a variety of products. This ranges from instrumentation, steam and process system components, and removable insulation covers.

Ohio Valley Industrial Services is looking for a full-time Industrial Sewing Machine Operator for our growing Moon Twp, PA location. We are looking for a team member that is willing to learn, hard-working, dependable person with good organization skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

An excellent candidate would be a person that is willing to learn if they do not have sewing experience. The ideal candidate would have an eye for detail, work well in a team environment, ability work with minimal supervision, experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not mandatory.

Duties to include but not limited to:

· Sewing machine setup (changing thread, bobbins, and needles as needed.)

· Single needle prepping and joining

· Or

· Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation.

· Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production.

· Inspect HotCaps™ for defects, or damage.

· Communicate with team members to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.

· Compare physical characteristics of materials or products to specifications or standards.

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

· Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
