At Ohioans Home Health & Hospice, we are looking for empathetic individuals to help patients and their caregivers facing end-of-life care. Current volunteer opportunities include patient companionship, respite care for families, and assisting caregivers with errands.
Volunteer duties include but are not limited to:
- Picking up prescriptions for the patient
- Spiritual and emotional support for patients/caregivers
- Provide companionship to allow caregivers to run errands
- Engage in special hobbies and interests with patients
- Veteran to veteran visits
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have reliable transportation
- Exceptional time-management skills
- Previous volunteer experience a plus
