Job Overview:
We are seeking a Vocational Coordinator to join our team at Oklahoma Production Center. As a Vocational Coordinator, you will be responsible for working with individuals with developmental disabilities and providing support and guidance. Your role will involve supervising, mentoring and training staff members and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities to assess their needs and develop personalized plans
- Mentor and educate individuals on life skills, employment opportunities, and personal growth
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Overseeing vocational staff and ensuring job duties are being done in a correct and timely manner
- Stay updated on employment labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all activities
- conduct site visits, time studies, prevailing wages, and create/provide weekly schedules for clients
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities
- Excellent mentoring and educational skills to guide individuals towards personal growth
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs
- Supervisory skills are preferred
- Familiarity with employment labor laws and regulations
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
-Must possess a valid Oklahoma Drivers License
-Must be able to pass OSBI background check

$1000 Provided for staff who start on or after February 1st 2024 and a additional $1000 after 6 months of employment.
