Job Summary: | Reporting directly to the Director of Operations & Strategy for The Innovation Foundation, the Associate Director of Communications and Marketing holds a pivotal role in spearheading and refining the overarching communications strategy. This individual will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to architect and execute comprehensive content initiatives across diverse marketing platforms. The primary focus will be to amplify the visibility and impact of The Innovation Foundation and its associated institutes within the OSU community, while expanding recognition at state, regional, and national levels. This leadership role demands an adept and versatile skill set, encompassing not only exceptional writing, editing, design, and photography abilities but also a strategic prowess in aligning content with diverse audience requirements. Beyond these core competencies, the ideal candidate will exhibit a proven track record of driving impactful campaigns and possess an intuitive understanding of evolving communication trends. |

Position Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. Five years of experience in the marketing and communication field. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships among diverse groups. Strong written communication and interpersonal skills in a business environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proven ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Communications or a related field. Three years of experience supervising professional level staff. Experience with writing and story development. Experience with social media & website. Experience in university setting |
