A clinically competent, licensed, professional nurse who participates in all duties, functions, and activities involved in nursing care.
Performs health history information gathering, provider assistance, sample collection, medication administration, collaboration, patient preparation, patient education, and emergency response.
Maintain accurate records, which are confidential, up to date , legible and ensure that all care given is documented.
Perform all duties and functions in strict compliance of the clinic's policy and procedures, and all applicable federal, state, local, and regulatory agencies. Adhere to ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
Ensure compliance by support staff. Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested.
Professionally knowledgeable, responsible, and accountable in an environment that requires efficiency, speed, and thoroughness. Encourages an environment of teamwork. Communicates ideas and goals clearly and is an effective listener.
Demonstrates a regular and punctual attendance pattern.
Has strength and stamina for prolonged standing, walking, sitting, and dealing with stressful situations. Ability to lift at least 60lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office and medical equipment.
Potential exposure to infectious materials; substances; biohazards including HIV, Hepatitis, latex etc.
Performs all other related clinical tasks, administrative tasks, or special tasks as required. Readily accepts other responsibilities and participates in other activities and committees as assigned.

Position Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical program in Licensed Practical Nursing and one year of clinical experience.
Current Oklahoma LPN license.
Current/Valid CPR certification.
Ability to perform tasks under general supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical program in Licensed Practical Nursing and over three years of experience preferred.
IV certification/training is preferred. Will be expected to obtain after hire if not already certified.
