What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Age Group Leader position at OLD COLONY YMCA?
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 18 years of age, and have 6 months school age experience.
Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months.
Negative Mantoux TB test and immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella.
Ability to create and sustain a culture of excellence and work and thrive as part of a cohesive team.
Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary.
Will sometimes work early morning, late nights and weekends.
Strong oral communication skills required for occasional public speaking responsibilities.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 75lbs on occasion and 40lbs frequently (children) and move intermittently
during work hours.
Ability to thoroughly understand Y-USA's three focus areas: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social
Responsibility; proven ability to identify and meet the needs of the health seeker
