JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Family Services, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of three centers during their shift. This person will ensure that program policies and procedures are adhered to by the Family Advocate staff and is responsible for supervision and development of direct care staff, who will provide a healthy, safe, secure and clean environment for every family residing in our three centers. The Shift Supervisor will reflect and display the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the operation of the Family Life Center, David Jon Louison Center and Bolton Place Family Center. This position is responsible for ensuring that a high level of service is provided to all children and families in our centers. The Shift Supervisor will represent the Old Colony Y in a positive, professional manner, resulting in friendly, convenient, and courteous service. The Shift Supervisor will uphold the employee code of conduct and will ensure that all areas of the job responsibilities reflect the mission of the Old Colony Y, and all regulating agencies. The Shift Supervisor will display and encourage the character traits of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, as well as the values of the Developmental Assets, Family Strengthening and Trauma Informed Care consistent with the Old Colony Y.
