Job description
Old Hickory Sheds, LLC is a growing manufacturer of portable storage buildings operating over 700 sales locations and 35 factories across the US and Canada. We are currently seeking motivated, self-starters to join our Outside Sales team and grow our Utah markets by developing new sales locations and servicing existing sales locations throughout the territory.
We have an open position for Territory Manager. The right person for this role will be extremely positive with great communication skills, demonstrated sales and people management and leadership ability. Other requirements include professionalism, marketing creativity, a strong work ethic, good organizational skills with attention to detail regarding paperwork and an understanding of the importance of providing a high level of customer service. The ability to recruit, teach and coach independent dealers and delivery drivers will also be key drivers of success. Extensive travel throughout this area is required on a weekly basis. Finally, you must be a people person and have the ability to deal with all types of people to succeed in this role.
The ultimate responsibility of this job is to grow dealer sales, maintain sales growth and a manage your team in the specified territory. Success in this role will be achieved by diligently pursuing the following activities:
- Develop and foster good relationships with existing sales dealers, drivers and factories in this territory
- Establish new dealer sales locations throughout the territory
- Provide guidance, training, and support to sales dealers and drivers in the specified territory
- Monitor product inventory and provide quality control
- Work closely with the product distribution team in this territory
- Provide customer service to end users in the territory
- Communicate via phone and email and provide reports to home office on a frequent basis
- Evaluate sales dealer locations on an ongoing basis for continual improvement and /or upgrade
A 4 year college degree is required for this position.
