What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Host position at Oldham Goodwin?
Responsible for maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times; welcoming and serving our guests in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner. Breakfast Attendants will be the first point of contact for our guests in the morning, and will play a major part in ensuring that their day starts out right. Breakfast Hosts will also be responsible for clearing all tables, maintaining and up-keeping the breakfast area, and keeping all items stocked for the duration of breakfast.
Requirements:
- Exhibits strong customer service skills, including multi-tasking
- Must be able to begin work by 5:30AM
- Be outgoing and engaging with our guests to ensure a great breakfast experience
- Open to cross-training and assisting in other departments as necessary
- Must be capable of high-quality food cooking and preparation for each morning breakfast
- Harris County approved Food handlers certificate required
Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
- Prepare and cook breakfast foods on a daily basis, following all Best Western required standards
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area
- Setting up and breaking down breakfast area, including proper storage or disposal of any left- over items from breakfast
- Keep all food items stocked, organized, and maintained during breakfast
- Maintain organization and food safety standards of all food storage areas
- Promptly, effectively, and empathetically assist with guest requests
- Be very knowledgeable of Marriott Rewards program and promotions
- Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, and amenities of the hotel
- Be knowledgeable of the local area, including: shopping, entertainment, and dining
- Complete any other related task given by manager
