Primary Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy using cycle counting, physical inventories, disciplined processes, and timely investigation and corrections to known discrepancies. Conduct root cause investigations to improve the system’s performance over time.
- Material Movement: Optimize the flow of material between manufacturing operations and to and from warehouse locations. Ensure that materials are available to manufacturing work centers when needed to avoid down time associated with waiting for material. Create a culture of responsiveness and hustle ensuring that internal customer expectations are exceeded.
- Distribution (Packing, Labeling, and Crating): Achieve on-time in full (OTIF) delivery and shipping accuracy goals are achieved through the solid documentation of work standards and disciplined adherence to work standards. Work closely with manufacturing peers to optimize labeling, packing, and crating processes. Core Cutting: Ensure the right core size is available to the given work center when needed. Establish and maintain an inventory management and replenishment system.

- Develop the workforce’s technical and communication skills to ensure operational performance and discipline can be sustained over time.
- Assists with hiring and training of team members.
- Resolves conflicts that arise among team members and/or other employees.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
- At least five years of related work experience required.
- Able to operate forklift and other Warehouse related equipment.
- At least five years of experience in distribution or manufacturing.
- Receiving, Shipping, and Inventory Management experience using SAP for batch managed and warehouse managed goods.
