What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Claims Specialist - Commercial Property - up to $175,000 position at Oliver James Associates?
A global insurance carrier is looking to hire a Senior Claims Specialist within their Commercial Property team. In this role you will be responsible for investigating complex commercial property & builders risk claims across both primary and excess policies. Claims will involve complex litigation and coverage matters so extensive experience required within commercial property claims and / or builders risk claims.
Key/Skills Experience Required:
- 5 years commercial property claims experience essential. Builders Risk claims experience highly preferred, or Construction Property Damage/Inland Marine claims experience.
- Significant exposure to primary & excess commercial property damage claims
- Highly experienced within complex litigation and coverage investigation essential
- Exposure to commercial property / builders risk claims above $1M in value - essential
- Bachelors Degree and Adjuster License in multiple states essential
This role is office based from GA, IL, NJ, CT, AZ, NY or TX (4-5 days in office per week) with an excellent salary up to $175,000 15% annual bonus. You will also be on a clear progression plan for the future. Please note we cannot consider fully remote candidates or experience within personal lines property.
