What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Laborer position at Olson Construction Services?
Olson Construction Services is looking to hire a water laborer. This position will perform repairs, maintenance and new construction of water and waster water lines, grinder pumps and/or valves.
Roles & Responsibilities Include:
- Operate a variety of hand and small power tools and equipment such as a jack hammer, air compressor, drills, etc.
- Operates light equipment such as a dump trailer, pavement cutter, skid steer, etc.
- Conducts repairs or breaks in distribution lines.
- Conducts routine water and water water line service taps.
- Restore street and yards to reasonable standards upon completion of water/wastewater repair or installation.
- Must maintain reliable and punctual attendance.
- On-Call to respond to emergencies once every 8 weeks is required.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $22.50 per hour
