Responsibilities
- Manage the overall production process, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate with directors, designers, and technical staff to develop production plans.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
- Oversee the assembly and fabrication of sets, props, and other production elements.
- Utilize SAP systems for inventory management and supply chain coordination.
- Conduct regular assessments of production processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Maintain safety standards throughout the production environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in production management within a theater or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with SAP systems and supply chain management practices.
- Experience in assembling and fabricating sets or other theatrical elements is preferred.
