Omelet, an award-winning, independent creative agency with a growing and exciting client roster, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated, multidisciplinary Art Director for its Culver City headquarters location.

You are a student of trends in culture, media, and technology, and relish in finding inventive uses of media to tell stories. General Job Responsibilities
Working cross-functionally, you will develop and execute marketing, content and communication ideas.
Key responsibilities include helping tell powerful stories in a variety of formats, including developing multiple campaigns across a variety of platforms, concepting and executing on digital visuals, expanding brand books and style guides, developing presentation decks, asset creation and management, and sourcing imagery.
You will mentor and lead junior team members throughout the process and work closely with creative leadership to execute and prioritize projects.
You will be challenged to concept against a range of timelines and strategies. From 24 hr quick turn content, to proactive long-term creative campaigns.
Requirements
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a creative group to conceptualize, brainstorm, and deliver on new ideas
- 4-5 years of relevant experience with some digital design experience including web and/or social
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite including; Photoshop and Illustrator
- Some production experience including but not limited to social, digital, film or experiential
- At least 2 year of relevant experience in animation, and/or motion graphics with a basic knowledge of After Effects and/or Premiere
- Social media and internet obsessed - you understand trends, platforms and have a digital-first mindset
- Experience building visual identity systems, including brand marks and logos.
- A developed eye for design, proficient in typography, layout, color, and other design principles
- Ability to deliver “on-brand” designs and concept, and experience supporting a brand long term
- Ability to clearly articulate and sell your ideas with conviction and reason to your internal team and clients
- Able to amend and redevelop campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director and/or client
- A true multitasker - you can manage and prioritize multiple work streams
- An interest or knowledge in UX/UI
