Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $170,000, depending on relevant experience, location, and other factors.

Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of Java and object-oriented programming principles.
- Basic knowledge of database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Review, package, and update software to screen satellite orbits for hazards.
- Interface with multiple teammates to develop applications to provide data to a scalable cloud service platform.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Learn space operations and how the code supports satellite constellations and operations.
- Support and plan Agile sprints to break software development tasks into logical and efficient software packages supporting a wide variety of satellite safety tasks.
- Work with advanced analysts and system tier support to create procedures in support of ongoing operations.
- Be adaptable to changing priorities in an operations environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- US Citizenship required
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Education: Bachelor's degree with experience in software engineering or software development with Java
- Experience: 6 years of relevant experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Oracle Java Certification (or equivalent)
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (or equivalent)
- Red Hat Linux and Windows experience
- Familiarity with DevOps Pipelines
- Familiarity with Test Automation Framework (TAF) and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with development tools such as Gitlab, Maven, and IDEs such as IntelliJ
- Familiarity with web technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Strong skill set with Jira
- Strong skill set with Confluence
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or Scrum experience
- Experience serving government customers a plus
- Current TS/SCI security clearance
- Education: Master's degree with experience in software engineering or software development with Java
- Experience: 10 years of relevant experience
