What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Pharmacy Technician position at On-Site Rx, Inc?
Chesapeake Public Schools Heartbeats Wellness Center Pharmacy (in partnership with On-Site Rx) has an exciting opportunity for a dependable and caring Pharmacy Technician to work on a full time basis. The position will average 32-38 hours per week and must be able to work two Saturdays per month.
On-Site Rx offers a unique and innovative setting, providing corporate pharmacy services to larger employers on or near their campus.
The setting is similar in feel and operation to an independent retail pharmacy. This pharmacy provides services only to employees and their dependents who work for Chesapeake Public Schools.
No outside insurance coverage is accepted – meaning issues with insurance coverage are limited. The pharmacy hours are conducive to a healthy work-life balance allowing you to be home in the evening.

Candidates MUST be able to work in a fast paced environment and have at least six-months of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.

Successful candidates will have:
- Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Current license to practice as a pharmacy technician in Virginia
- Excellent customer service skills
- Superior communication skills

- Identify when to take direction and when to lead in a retail pharmacy setting
- Negative drug screen
