The Starter/Ranger/Golf Cart Attendant is responsible for attending to the needs of golfers by getting them ready for their tee times in a courteous manner and ensuring that all aspects of preparation is attended to for their enjoyment.
Schedule:
- Part Time- Up to 25 hours a week
- Must be able to work 7 hour shifts
- Weekend availability
Responsibilities:
- Removes golf bags out of patrons vehicles
- Accurately discloses all tips and gratuities received
- Checks water levels in golf cart batteries
- Maintains proper tire pressure
- Checks returned golf carts for debris and damage
- Plugs in carts at end of each day
- Sweeps off, washes, and wipes down carts after each use
- Relocates ropes (teeing areas) to other areas, as directed
- Maintains spike brushes to ensure they are free of debris
- Cleans all bathrooms near the Pro Shop area
- Picks up golf balls and pails from the driving range
- Cleans golf balls
- Empties trashcans and picks up trash and debris on driving range, outside of Pro Shop and cart area, etc.
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Customer service experience preferred
- Able to work in all types of weather conditions to include high humidity and temperatures 95 degrees and above and 32 degrees and below
Skills and Knowledge:
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Customer service sills required
