Summary The Director, Corporate Security Operations acts as the Deputy CSO and manages security operations as outlined below. This challenging leadership role is responsible for the execution of security operations ensuring the protection of Oncor's employees, facilities, assets, and reputation. Responsible for executing policies and programs consistent with applicable regulations and directives. Directs or assists in the response to security related incidents and the implementation of controls and processes for all areas of responsibility. Partners with local, state, and national law enforcement agencies and security leaders to increase collaboration and information sharing.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Directly or through others, the incumbent :
- Manage and direct Corporate Security employees, oversee vendor contracts, and manage associated vendors to provide security to all employees and assets.
- Oversee Physical Security operations, including incident response activities, threat and vulnerability assessments, and develop plans to reduce physical security incidents and protect employees.
- Leads or co-leads security incident response.
- Develops and Enforces Physical Access Control and Visitor Management policies and operates associated systems and software.
- Manages armed security officer operations.
- Manages off duty police officer engagement and operations.
- Oversees Physical Security Operations Center and associated tasks
- Develops programs and leads or co-leads Special Event Security, Travel Security, and Executive Protection operations
- Monitors and assesses security threats which may impact company operations and partners cross functionally to implement effective plans to mitigate such threats. Ensures effective process and controls to respond to security events.
- Recruits, develops, an administers the security functions of the company by directing staff in security and vulnerability assessments of facilities and the design of new security solutions.
- Leads interaction with stakeholders to elevate knowledge of business risk associated with physical security to improve compliance.
- Assists in selecting, implementing, and operating physical security technology across the organization.
- Acts as a change agent to adapt and drive change throughout the organization.
- Seasoned leadership skills to develop, motivate and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
- Performs all essential functions and aspects of the job including any other specific job requirements.
