Colon, Stomach, and Liver Center is seeking a Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team in Lansdowne, VA to help drive patient success in our community.
We are searching for a passionate individual that will work Full Time, Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. This position provides a great work, life balance as you will not have to work any nights, weekends, or be on call!
**Must be a Certified Medical Assistant!

What you will do:
- Assess, evaluate, and discern patient acuity; secure patient appointment consistent with telephonic evaluation and clinician-driven guidelines. Seek clinician input wherever needed and provides patient education and instruction when necessary.
- Act as a conduit between clinician and patient to facilitate refill requests, relay test results, and answer general clinical questions as guided by clinicians.
- Maintain accurate and complete records, documenting all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient response(s). Record data in a neat and organized manner, including but not limited to, chart entries, documentation, or internal/external communication.
- Assist clinicians with management of office visits when needed.
- Comply with adverse event reporting and patient privacy policies.
What you bring:
- Must be a certified medical assistant.
- Previous experience working as a medical assistant.
- Maintains current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology required.
