Job Summary:
This role is responsible for all things systems, software, and technology in conjunction with our managed services partner. This role will report directly to the Chief of Staff and work with her to assess needs, build out process and policies, manage the relationship and workload of our 3rd party IT consulting group, and ensure our employees are supported in their technology needs. This role requires an active problem solver, an effective communicator, a quick learner, and someone excited to jump in and learn the ins and outs of the business.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports and focuses heavily on process execution and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Systems Management:
- Administer and maintain company software applications and databases including but not limited to: Microsoft 365, Acculynx, ConveYour, Quickbooks etc.
- Train other admins on the different software
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates or improvements
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers as needed
- User Audits and Security:
- Build out process to do monthly audits of user access and activity across systems
- Help create and implement an offboarding process for independent contractors
- Help to create company policies related to software usage and security and ensure adherence to such policies.
- Hardware Management:
- Oversee procurement, deployment, and maintenance of computer hardware across the organization for our W-2 employees
- Manage inventory of IT assets and maintain accurate records including budget & spend.
- Coordinate repairs and replacements, ensuring minimal downtime for end-users
- Technical Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support queries from staff
- Provide troubleshooting assistance and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies and goals that support the organization and individual department IT needs.
- Plan, organize, control, evaluate, assist, and oversee implementation of IT projects by developing, managing and acting as a systems administrator/engineer resource as needed.

- Help leadership evaluate different software tools needed for the organization
- Find and implement processes across the organization using technology. Create a roadmap and report out to upper management on your progress
- Additionally, the IT Manager is expected to build client relationships, maintain a friendly demeanor, and collaborate with leadership to enhance support across all entities

Preferences
· Bachelor’s degree
· 3-5 years of experience in a technical role
· Microsoft 365 experience
· ITIL Foundation Certification
· Networking experience
· Experience managing external clients
