Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for furniture moving, tear out existing floor. Floor prep including installation of subfloor, remove and reset base board, Install different types of transition trims with high standards of cleanliness and safety in all environments. This role requires a proactive approach to floor installation, with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with installer on-site to support preparation necessary for flooring projects as needed.
- Keep job site cleaned and clear of debris.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
Skills
- Strong understanding of flooring materials and installation of different types of flooring.
- Basic carpentry skills including being able to lift 60 lbs.
- Basic maintenance person skills including drywall repair and general maintenance tasks.
- Friendly personality able to interact with customers.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in all projects.
