The Revenue Management Representative plays a key role in ensuring premium integrity within the Employee Benefits Operations team. This position is responsible for managing premium application, suspense accounts, delinquency monitoring, and audit controls. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to support accurate and timely revenue processing.
Key Responsibilities
As a condition of employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who receive a job offer on or after Jan. 17, 2022 provide evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 within the first week of their employment with OneAmerica, unless an exemption has been granted as an accommodation due to the individual’s medical condition, sincerely held religious belief, or other legal requirement. Once employment begins, new associates will be required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination through the confidential and secure HR Service Center process within their first week of employment. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor suspense accounts and manage the lapse/cancel cycle for policyholders
- Perform premium research and review audit/control reports to ensure accuracy
- Reconcile premium discrepancies and resolve billing issues
- Terminate policyholder contracts as necessary
- Identify and resolve issues related to premium integrity
- Recommend and support process improvement initiatives
- 2 years of experience in premium billing, revenue management, or insurance operations.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred.
- Insurance industry experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills with a focus on root cause analysis
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel PivotTables, VLOOKUP, or Power BI)
- Ability to collaborate with team members and internal partners
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- High School Diploma required, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
