What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secondary Civics / History Teacher position at OneSchool Global?
OneSchool Global is adding a dynamic and creative middle school history/civics teacher to our campus in the upcoming school year! The scope of this role will encompass planning and instruction for grade 8 History / Civics courses, using the Self-Directed Learning model to ensure our incredible students develop their full potential with Learning To Learn. Requirements: Bachelor's degreeA valid Montana teaching certificate (credentialled to teach middle/high school history is preferred)Willingness to be part of a collaborative educational teamEffective communication skills, both oral and writtenProfessional learning community (PLC) knowledge and background preferredEvidence of sensitivity and respect for others and a willingness to work within cultural boundariesTravel and a valid passport requiredMust have a strong foundation in the use of technology in the classroom History of our School: OneSchool North America, founded in 2005, is a school system of excellence, comprised of 36 private schools located across Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.
