Patient Service Representative and Driver

We are looking for a driver to transport medical equipment for our company. As a driver, you must have a safe driving record, follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations. In this position, you will follow prearranged routes to destinations or use GPS to navigate routes. You will also maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness. you will be responsible for equipment demonstration and troubleshooting questions in regards to medical equipment. Must have customer- oriented mindset and be patient with answering questions.

Driver Duties and Responsibilities

• Practice safe driving habits
• follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
• accurately follow routes, maps, and directions
• Load and unload medical equipment, up to 50 lbs
• keep exterior of vehicle clean and presentable
• Maintain vehicle equipment; change oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety
• Clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed
• Keep interior of vehicle clean of debris, clutter, and trash
• Demonstrate equipment to patients and family members with patience and efficiency
• keeping organized records of patient signatures and files
• Complete documentation such as logs and mileage
• follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic, congestion, and last minute schedule changes

• physically able to lift and carry object 30 to 50 pounds
• physically able to reach, stretch, bend and sit for long periods of time during daily routine
• previous professional experience with customer service and driving preferred; training will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
