Experience level - 1 to 3 years
As a QA Engineer, you should have the following skills:
Mandatory skills:
- Skilled manual tester with crystal clear concepts of manual/functional testing
- Develop, update test plans and test cases
- Experience/knowledge with testing in CI/CD environment and agile
- Cope up with fast context switching
- REST API/JSON formats understanding and testing
- Working experience on Linux OS
- Ability to catch defects fast in rapidly changing requirements.
- Work well in a collaborative, team-based environment (both work autonomously and as part of a team)
- Sound knowledge of DB queries
- Experience on Postman tool
Desired Skills:
- Good understanding of any of the applications on Legal domain
- Exposure to automation using tools like Selenium/Katalon/Cypress
- Code analysis and debugging capabilities
The candidate will be required to perform the following responsibilities:
- Be an independent tester who can test a complex workflow,understand API/JSON formats well and query databases
- Good at configuration and integration testing
- Design and run a manual test case suites
- Review functional and design requirements to ensure full understanding to enable the development of good test scenarios
- Identify defects and impact on the solutions
- Deliver high-quality software that matches technical requirements in a timeframe that matches business needs.
- Collaborate well with onshore and offshores teams
- Follow process by adhering to documented methodology. Provide good and clear test cases, with traceability to requirements and defects
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
