Only Angels Home Healthcare, LLC in Wichita, KS is looking for one licensed practical nurse home health to join our 21 person strong team. We are located on 1624 S Rutan Ave Suite A. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.
Licensed Practical Nurse
Days: Monday, Wednesday or Friday or Tuesday and Thursday you can choose
Hours: 9am to 5 pm with 1 hour lunch
Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs.
- Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
- Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Provides routine care for patients.
- Observes patients’ health.
- Reviews medical charts.
- Accompanies patients to their rooms.
- Assists physicians and registered nurses.
- Communicates with patients and their families.
- Performs standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
- Prepares specimens for lab courier.
- Administers medications.
- Provides wound care.
- Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas.
- Assists with patient comfort.
- Monitors catheters.

Licensed Practical Nurse Education and Experience Requirements:
- Completion of state approved training program (generally in the form of a diploma, certificate, or associate degree)

- BLS certification
- 1-2 years recent nursing experience
