We are currently seeking a full-time veterinary receptionist to join our team. Seeking a candidate who truly enjoys caring for the needs of both pets and their families. The ideal candidate will be dependable, outgoing, possesses a great work ethic, communication skills and proficient phone etiquette. We are seeking an individual that has open availability with no other prior commitments to interfere with scheduling and is willing to cross train. General Job Description:
Answering telephone calls, responding to emails, online appointment and prescription refill requests, appointment scheduling, collecting payment for services, and be able to communicate treatment plans, go-home medication instructions and procedures with clients in a clear and understandable manner.
Job Requirements:
Minimum one year previous veterinary hospital experience.
Weekend availability.
Knowledge of Avimark is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficient phone communication skills.
Ability to work in a high stress environment
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
