JOB RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:

• Performs teller or new accounts or client service functions when needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:
•Provides exceptional service in handling clients in person or on the telephone.
•Performs teller or new accounts or client service functions when needed.
•Processes deposits, withdrawals, check cash and other transactions.
- Get supervisors’ approval before posting transactions over authority limits or exceptionally complex transactions
- Responsible for loss prevention in the processing all transactions and duties
•Issues cashier’s checks and other negotiable items
•Maintains a cash drawer, balances and audits the cash drawer according to policy and schedule
•Keeps work station neat, clean, and well stocked with supplies and brochure materials
•Additional branch operation responsibilities may include:
- ATM maintenance and balancing, if applicable
- Filing signature cards and other documents
- May help with a variety of audits and verifications
- Input fund holds to core system
- Assistance with opening new accounts and gathering customer information
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or experience:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in bank operations preferred, but not required.
• Cash handling experience in a banking or retail setting preferred.
• Ability to follow precise directions and learn banking equipment and software quickly.
• Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
