A financial firm is looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join their team in New York, NY.
Compensation: $150-200k
Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder; No Visa Sponsorship
Must be local to NYC; No Relocation
Candidates must have 5-8 years of experience.
Within this role, you will be responsible for the following:
• Core HR operations in the US, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and HRIS data accuracy
• HR support for US employees, responding to policy questions, troubleshooting benefits and payroll issues, advising on employee relations matters, and ensuring employees feel heard and supported
• Work with external vendors and internal teams on benefits administration, compliance, and payroll coordination
• Design and execution of talent development, performance management, and employee engagement systems, processes, and programs
• Work with leaders to address employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion
• Support activities such as auditing employee data, coordinating with legal on contracts, ensuring benefits and payroll readiness, and assisting with employee communications
• Contribute to improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to eliminate friction points, leverage automation and AI tools, and create scalable systems to support organizational growth
• Build self-service resources and documentation, creating wikis, FAQs, guides, and templates that empower employees to find answers independently
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
