The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, information-seeking self-starter to be part of our dynamic IT team. This position will allow you to learn and grow. You will be responsible for, but not limited to supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting all IT infrastructures in a Linux, MacOS, Windows, Networking, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Entra ID/Domain Controller Active Directory environment. You will also help with the office's daily needs, including planning and implementing new systems and services as needed.
This position is ideal for someone technical and/or right out of college.
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. THE POSITION IS BASED IN SAN MATEO, CA. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO OUR OFFICE AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK.
Responsibilities:
- Quickly resolve employee IT issues, improve proactively, and develop a customer-first mindset.
- Implementing, operating, and maintaining software distribution and end-point client administration tools through MDM Technologies such as JAMF Cloud and Kaseya Cloud.
- Utilize MDM systems to ensure a standard version level of OS and applications across all devices.
- Ensure managed devices comply with the best security practices and relevant policies.
- OS Image workstation to defined standards.
- Technical and helpdesk support hardware, software, e-mail, network, and operation systems via ticketing system, email, and in person.
- Provide End-user support and guidelines.
- Monitoring, maintenance, repair and rebuild all IT systems/services
- Perform daily IT tasks as assigned
- Support a 24x7 production support, be” On-Call.”
- Create and maintain IT Documentation.
- Assist in tracking IT hardware assets using our asset-tracking system.
Requirements:
- BS in Information Systems or equivalent without experience is required.
- 2 years of help desk or IT experience if no degree.
- Solid customer service experience is required.
- Extremely good presentation, personality, and communication skills
- Good understanding of computer hardware technologies.
- Good understanding of operating systems and networking.
- Extensive Apple MacOS, Microsoft Windows, and Windows Server skills, including Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace Administration skills.
- Experience with supporting a production application server environment with developer liaison.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Shell, Groovy, etc.) and scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Shell is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for IT support.
- Are excited when things can be automated.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Motivated, eager, and driven personality.
- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
