As OpenTable moves toward an event based architecture for all our application services, you will have the opportunity to work on new Analytics infrastructure. You will be communicating with Business Users directly to perform Business Analysis. You’ll also work on building a data pipeline from the new event based services to consume and store events and make them easily accessible for Analytics. Use Python or Scala to utilize Spark engine to process Events data stored in Amazon S3. And help in implement data feeds that go to our data warehouse and other systems.RESPONSIBILITIES : Provide technical leadership for the entire MicroStrategy environment including Architecture, best practices, processes and development standardsArchitect MicroStrategy projects from end to endAnalyzes requirements, designs and develops business intelligence applications to meet business needs.Support business users on answering complex business questions via MicroStrategy and ad-hoc SQL queries.Participate in requirements gathering sessions; works together with users to find the best possible solution to a given business problemTroubleshoot technical issues at all levels.Well conversant with current MicroStrategy products and tools and have means to solve any issues by reaching out to MicroStrategy Support and Forums.Relationship building with key business stakeholderContribute to data aggregation strategy for reporting, dashboards, and self-service analyticsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Extensive experience in MicroStrategy Architecture and DevelopmentHands-on expertise in data modeling, Icube, schema object designExperience on metadata creation, creating report specifications, integration, test planning, testing and implementation supportExpert level experience in Report and Dashboard design and developmentExperience building highly customized reports and developing creative solutions to apply business logicMust have extensively worked on MicroStrategy Administration, Desktop, Web, Report Services Document, Distribution ServicesMust have good experience on Visual InsightsMust have strong performance tuning and troubleshooting experienceMust be able to debug and fix production / existing issuesStrong experience reading and writing SQLExperience with Netezza and SQL Server databases preferredMust be able to work on one or more assignments simultaneously with minimal supervisionMust be able to interact with business for requirement gathering and supportExcellent verbal and communication skillsABOUT OPENTABLE : OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings (NASDAQ : BKNG), is the world's leading provider of online restaurant reservations, seating more than 16 million diners per month via online bookings across approximately 36,000 restaurants.
