Work Schedule: Work Schedule: The typical work week is forty (40) hours. During periods of high activity (i.e., during OBR deployments and events), the position may require working during evenings and weekends. This position requires travel. Throughout the year, you can be required to travel for up to 14 consecutive days. Travel is a mandatory requirement of having this position.
Position Summary:
The donor specialist's job is to ensure donors have a positive experience and that donor information is accurate and up to date.
Essential Functions:
- Engage donors, building and maintaining relationships through ongoing contact.
- Screen donors, confirming their information, reaching our and following up as needed.
- Ensure donor case files are complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulations.
- Record and acknowledge gifts, ensuring they are processed accurately and promptly in databases.
- Identify potential donors, and research them and engage accordingly.
- Work closely with Volunteer team to increase donor participation from volunteers and increase volunteer participation from donors.

Education/Experience:

- Experience in development and/or non-profit setting, preferred.
