We seek a skilled, energetic, patient-focused Optician/Eyewear Consultant to join our outstanding team at Ophthalmic Associates located in Johnstown, PA. Responsibilities
• Educate and recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit patient needs.• Ordering frames and lenses from vendors. • Assisting with frame adjustments and repairs.• Collecting payments and entering charges and payments into the Practice Management system. • Dispense patient glasses, contact lens orders, and frames orders. • Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and color, coordinating frames with facial and eye measurements, and optical prescriptions.
Qualifications
• At least two years of experience in the optical field is required.• At least two years of experience working as an Optician is preferred. • Excellent customer service skills.• Sales experience is a PLUS!
