Opperman & Son is one of the largest used equipment dealers in California. Our goal is to handle our customer’s needs full circle by selling new and used equipment; new and used parts; and service with our complete repair shop, welding shop, and body shop department.
Shipping and Receiving Clerk
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for receiving shipments, processing paperwork, and assisting with the daily operations of our shipping department. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Essential Functions:
- Receive parts delivery throughout the work day
- Immediately check in and deliver all special order parts
- Check in all stock orders and put in proper bin locations
- Insure all stock and special orders are delivered or put away each day
- Package and prepare all documentation for outbound shipments
- Insure all outbound parts are picked up on a daily basis
- Pick parts for delivery and prepare outgoing paperwork
- Complete and maintain all paperwork as required
- Clean, revise, and update parts displays as directed
- Serve as back up driver for parts delivery
- Help maintain orderly parts stock
- Assist with regular part inventories (cycle and full physical counts)
- Attend group training sessions as required
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a shipping industry environment is required. A background check will be conducted prior to hire.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
