What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician - Community Care & Geriatrics position at Opportunities?
Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking a BC/BE physician (MD or DO) to join our Community Care and Geriatrics service caring for the adult and geriatric population in the region’s nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
Geriatrician, family medicine or internal medicine physicians with special interest geriatrics welcome to inquire. Join an established and growing Community Care and Geriatrics (CCG) practice in Bangor.
The position is planned for full-time, 40 hours per week, generally Monday – Friday. Enjoy a high level of autonomy and flexibility with schedule, and superb clinical support in this role.
Having a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required. Any concerns raised by the results of a driving record check will be subject to an individualized review to determine whether the infraction is relevant to the individual’s ability to perform the responsibilities of the position, in accordance with PCHC’s Automobile Safety and Background Check policy.
