What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Administrative Assistant position at Opportunity Enterprises, Inc.?

The position of the Training Administrative Assistant will be to provide assistance to the Training Department in maintaining the functions of staff training.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with onboarding new hires in Therap, When to Work, Oasis and any other software needs
  • Manage all administrative aspects of client specific trainings, including High Risk Protocols and Behavior Support Plans
  • Manage third-party training administration including Red Cross
  • Assist with room bookings and calendar invites for orientation classes
  • Assist with preparation of materials for orientation
  • Assist with the learning management system in HRIS
  • Maintain employees’ digital training files
  • Track Learning Plans
  • Handle meeting minutes for staff meetings
  • Assist with phone and front desk coverage for breaks and vacations
  • Assist with client line coverage as needed
  • Additional administrative support to the Human Resources Department as available
  • Other responsibilities as requested by supervisor

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged sitting at a desk working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • High School Diploma
  • Customer Service experience preferred
  • Human Resources or Recruiting experience a plus
