- Mechanical engineering department's designs, budget, projects, and time lines.
- Will work with all levels of personnel including the machine designers, detailers, electrical controls engineers, project managers, and field Service technicians.
- Oversee outside design resources and make sure they are on time.
- Provide engineering / technical support and subject matter expertise to manufacturing, sales, service, and customers.
- Plan and lead Engineering projects and project teams.
- Implement and maintain standards, processes, and procedures.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience leading Engineering departments (capital equipment industries preferred).
- Previous experience as a Machine Designer preferably using Solidworks.
- Ability to create and manage strategic objectives as well as be able to execute and lead day-to-day activities of the department.
- Mentoring and coaching skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Annual pay range is between $95,000 - $110,000 depending on experience level.
