Job Summary:
As the Residential Program Manager of our Supported Apartment Program, you will support people with disabilities to successfully live in their own apartments and participate in their communities. You will develop and attain personal life goals for our residents. You will train and direct our staff on developing the social and personal skills of our clients as they live independently in the community. - Wage: $50,000.00 annual salary
How will you make a difference?
- Supervise and lead Assistant Program Managers and staff within our apartment sites.
- Oversee program plans for persons served.
- Manage finances and budget for the homes and individuals.
- Train staff on how to support people served.
- Complete person-served documentation on their meal plans, medication administration etc within our systems.
- Hire and onboard new Direct Support Professionals for our apartment sites.
- Create and manage Direct Support Professional Schedules.
What will you bring to Opportunity Partners?
- Preferred: a 4-year degree in Human Services or a related field plus at least on year of experience in the human service industry;
- A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older;
- An associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older;
- A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older;
- A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications listed above.
