Job Summary:
As a Support Coordinator, you will help our people with disabilities in classroom and in community environments. You will help our people with disabilities grow their skills and gain independence to the greatest extent possible!
How will you make a difference?
Wage: $18.00 per hour
As part of team, you will help our people with disabilities in the following areas:
- Provides case management so that our services are initiated, provided, evaluated and communicated effectively both internally & externally
- Implements lessons and activities that provide our clients with disabilities opportunities to learn and practice good employee practices, job search and interview skills
- Learn what it means to successfully work with others
- Assist our clients with disabilities to develop and enhance their work skills
- Grow and develop their social skills

Preferred Qualifications (one of the following listed below):
- A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older;
- An associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older;
- A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older;
- A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications listed above.
