Alaris Health at Cedar Grove, a 170 bed-skilled nursing, long-term care and behavioral health medical center in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, seeks a full-time Recreational Therapist.
The Recreational Therapist will assess patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and facilitate engaging group-based activities focused on areas such as social skills, coping strategies, creative arts, stress management, adventure therapy, and more. this role is ideal for someone who brings creativity, structure, and compassion to support elderly patients on their healing journey.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS in Healthcare Field or
Certificate of completion of the MEPAP I/II state certified course ADC or CTRS
Certification in accordance with regulatory agencies governing the facility
Associate degree in recreation is preferred
