Position: QE Automation Lead

Location: Fort Mill, SC (day one onsite)

Duration: Full Time

Role Description: -

QA Automation Lead design automated tests to validate the functionality of web and mobile applications. Their job is to test application functionality end to end, automate regression test suite and report the results. 

Role and responsibilities 

1. Expertise in creating Automation Test scripts using Selenium with Java Using testing framework and page object model design pattern.
2. Expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of test scripts.
3. Proficient in working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
4. Test Script development, maintenance & execution, Experience with Azure/TFS Integration is a plus
5. Generate comprehensive Test Reports
6. Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tool.
7. Maintain Automation Testing Framework.
8. Experience with working in Agile environment
9. Work closely with application Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners to achieve shift left testing
10. Ability to prioritize and handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
11. Attention to detail is required
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
13. Building test plans, test suites, and manual or automated test cases for assigned changes. 
14. Effectively communicate with team members, project managers, and clients, as required. 

Required skills 

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in, 

1. OOPS programming concepts and experience in programming language Java.
2. Selenium
3. TestNG framework using page object model(pom)
4. API Testing.
5. SQL
6. Automation Testing
7. Good Communication Skill.

Nice-to-have skills 

1. Manual Testing
2. Exposure to Mobile App testing is an added advantage.   

Qualifications 

1. 10 years of work experience in systems or application development 
2. B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer Science background is preferred.
