Pay Range: $29.71 - $36.57 - Hourly – Depending on Experience Job is: Certificated Schedule 35 hours per week Our Ideal Candidate Will: Provide instruction to students for a specific charter or region Administer and grade tests Tutor students who need help as requested by the teacher of record Support all state testing by calling, proctoring, and helping Assist with locating, preparing, and passing out curriculum materials Help audit and correct student files when requested Enter student’s work into the student information system Help with other activities within the center that support the direct instruction of students You’ll Need The Following Minimum Requirements: BA/BS Degree California 30-Day Substitute Teaching Credential or clear single subject credentials or CA Preliminary or Clear single subject credential Experience working with high school students preferred Knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Suite Company Benefits and Perks: We offer a comprehensive benefits package to full-time staff, including accrued wellness hours, holiday pay, medical, vision, and dental coverage, incentives, and an employer-matched retirement plan. OFY is a free non-profit public charter school serving students grades 7-12 who have fallen behind in school, are looking to get ahead and graduate early, or merely desire a non-traditional learning environment. OFY’s founders, John and Joan Hall, started the program in 1987 to provide at-risk and underserved students an alternative to traditional learning methods. OFY’s blended learning model allows students, teachers, and families the freedom to design an individualized learning plan for each student based on his or her strengths, weaknesses, college and career goals, and schedule outside of school. OFY’s program places great emphasis on the student-teacher relationship, a critical component to the development of students’ personal, emotional, and academic well-being.

Salary : $30 - $37
