Looking for Respite and Community Habilitation staff for 2 fun, active, friendly boys with Autism and ADHD in Amsterdam, NY. There boys are ages 8 and 14, and they live with their Mom. They are super sweet and Mom is wonderful to work with but needs some help.
There is the potential to hire more than one person, as the person hired will not be working with both boys at the same time. The largest needs for help are mornings Mon-Fri 6:30a-8:30a approximately (when school starts) and weekday afternoons/evenings (presently) Occasional help on weekends would be a bonus.
The boys are hoping to find someone who is also fun and active and wants to participate in lots of different activities with them. For Mom it is most important that they hire someone with experience working with children with Autism and ADHD, and know how to support these needs and help her children learn and grow.
The 8-year-old is looking for Respite staff and the 14-year-old is looking for Community Habilitation, pay rates are different for positions and boys based on their Self-Direction budgets.
