Job Description
General Functions
Conducts special project assignments and provides administrative support to the assigned division. This is responsible administrative work assisting the Division Director. The incumbent conducts assignments to enhance and improve division operations. An employee in a position assigned to this classification performs research, analysis and evaluation of programs, projects and operational procedures. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of the assigned supervisor.
Representative Duties/Assignments
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work and Human Services and three years of experience in project coordination, community engagement and outreach; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

Representative Duties/Assignments
- The primary duty of the Project Coordinator is Community Engagement and assist with Community Center Operations.
- Program/Special Events – Plan, organize, and coordinate Programs and activities for the Community Center.
- Partnerships – Recruit partners for the Community Center to enhance the ability of the Center to provide services, increase resources, and help the Community Center reach milestones, and achieve goals based on the strategic/work plan, and National Performance Indicators (NPIs)
- Volunteer Recruitment – Increase community involvement, enhance the centers ability to provide services, and attain Community Action Division volunteer goals.
- Center Advisory Committee Participation – Assist with the development and implementation of the Community Action Center’s Community Advisory Committee.
