Salary Schedule
Under general direction, the purpose of the position is to perform district and school-based duties associated with program coordination. Employees in this classification function at an assistant level capacity and provide guidance, maintain records, and verify adherence to current state laws, state board rules, and school board policies. This position also provides guidelines for school-based projects. Performs related work as directed.
Examples Of Essential Functions
Responds to internal and external customers in a timely, accurate, courteous, and empathetic manner representing OCPS in a positive light.
Monitor and maintain records on Certificate of Insurance from third parties wishing to rent OCPS facilities.
Act as liaison between internal and external customers as it relates to OCPS insurance program as it related to financial reimbursement inquiries.
Collect and log payments from third parties for reimbursement of claims made by the district for restitution and deliver to the Finance Department.
Oversee broker issuance of Certificates of Insurance to third parties where OCPS is required to provide evidence of insurance.
Responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by OCPS. With the support of the district, attends training to ensure skill level in various technologies is at the level required to perform in current position.
Responsible for timely and accurate information they maintain as part of their job responsibilities.

Maintains all iBuy processes for the entire Risk Management Department.
Reviews all invoices and payables to vendors and submit payments iBuy.
Track and process all invoices for insurance renewals including property and liability.
Track and ensure all student accident coverage are paid by other departments in a timely manner so there is no lapse in coverage.
Assist the Senior Manager with reconciliation for COBRA, Retirees, and LOA to ensure the third-party administrator collects correct premium for those self-pay insurance coverages.
Marginal Functions
While the following tasks are necessary for the work of the unit, they are not an essential part of the purpose of this position and may also be performed by other unit members.
Performs related duties as directed.
Minimum Training And Experience
High school or GED and four (4) years of experience in a progressively responsible clerical role or insurance related experience. Associate’s Degree is preferred.

Data Utilization Requires the ability to review, classify, categorize, prioritize, and/or analyze data and/or information. Includes exercising discretion in determining data classification, and in referencing such analysis to established standards for the purpose of recognizing actual or probable interactive effects and relationships.
