What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) position at Orange East Supervisory Union?
Orange East Supervisory Union is seeking a second Board Certified Behavior Analyst for the 2023-2024 school year to work collaboratively with our School Psychologists, Student Services team members, and the OESU Evaluation Team. The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) conducts Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), plans, develops, and monitors a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or other behavioral and social/communication challenges. The BCBA consults with parents and staff. The BCBA supports and trains paraprofessionals in addressing the needs of identified students and delivering supports and interventions.
The BCBA must be able to demonstrate competency in behavior management skills, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal skills, and working with a variety of students across all grade levels preschool through high school.
