Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for day-to-day inventory movements to support the operations of production and field service teams. Major responsibilities include receiving, put-away, cycle-counting, picking, packaging, and shipping. Material Handlers will complete projects as assigned to improve inventory workflow in the warehouse and production areas.
Position Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Be excited about joining and helping build a young, fast-growing company
- Ability to handle many functions at one time and adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules
- Knowledge of warehouse functions
- Experience operating sit-down or standing forklifts
- Experience with barcode scanning for inventory management
- 2 years of experience in material handling in a warehouse or manufacturing facility
- Safe driving record (occasional courier responsibilities)
- Positive can-do attitude, initiative, maturity, dedication, and punctuality
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
- Forklift Certification
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with safety stock, back stock, or Kanban processes
